Proper Ways to use a cell phone
1. Turn it on silent or OFF when at church. No one even wants to hear it vibrate!
2. ABSOLUTELY do not text/talk while eating a meal with other people. That is absolutely so rude. It's like you are sending a messge to that other person "You are not cool/fun/exciting enough so I must text while I am having lunch/dinner with you". I HATE THIS!! My mom and I took one of my old friends out to lunch and she texted on the phone the whole time!!! I was so aggravated and I am sure my mom thought it was so rude! Wes always checks his email while we are eating and it drives me crazy!
3. When hanging out with others, keep the conversations short and sweet. I hate hanging out with a friend and she makes like 14 phone calls while we are riding in the car. I understand that there are some phone calls that might be emergencies, but do you need to call your long lost friend to catch up while we are hanging out???
4. If you are being rude and constantly texting while hanging out with a friend, the least you can do is turn it on silent. No one wants to hear that beeping noise every 5 seconds! Notice that I said constantly! A few texts every now and then is okay! But I am sure we have all been around that one person that texts every 2 seconds. I was one of these people back in college! Some people havent grown out of that phase!
5. If you are in the middle of a conversation with someone and your phone rings, IGNORE IT! You can call them back in 5 minutes! Unless you are waiting for your sister to call and say she is in labor or some other similar emergency, it most likely can wait!!! I wonder how many important conversations have been stopped do to cell phones. Most of the times, those conversations never contine once that person is off the phone.
I am sure there are many other cell phone issues that I have not addressed! Feel free to add! I know I have been guiltly of every one of those above, but I hate when I do it!

Ok I had to laugh when I read this cause I remember that ridiculous cell phone bill you had due to all of your texting... thank god they invented unlimited text...
