My Makeup Wish List

I haven't been feeling lately that my makeup is providing the coverage that I need. Growing up, I always had problems with acne and lately it seems to be coming back. It is really frustrating! I thought that I would be done with this problem by now! I have been searing the Internet and browsing blogs for some new ideas for makeup. Thanks to Meg's blog, I have a lot on my wish list! I don't even know where to begin!!

I use Oil of Olay moisturizer. I think it works pretty good for my skin.

I used to use Elidel as my moisturizer and I really wish my prescription was still active. I guess I need to go back to the doctor to get some more because I loved it and it lasted forever! 

I currently use a primer, but I do not like it. I have heard good things from several different people about this one.... anyone like it?

I need a good foundation that will cover blemishes and stay on all day long. I am currently using Clinique foundation, and I don't think it does either of those things. I have read good things about this foundation. Maybe it will be my first purchase on my wish list!

I also need a new concealer. I currently have a Clinique concealer and I hate it! Anyone use the Mac Studio Finish concealer? Any other recs for a good concealer?

That is all for now because my bank account can't handle all of this at one time, let alone more! Of course I will need new brushes for all of these new goodies too!! This is what reading blogs does to my bank account! I would have been OK if I had never read about them!! 

My Break

I am going to try to come back to blogging. I never intended to take such a long break, but I have been super busy! 


In the past month, I have been quite a traveler. This past weekend was my first weekend in Houston in over a month.

Just booked my plane ticket to go here.......

Next weekend, I am going here.....(Colorado)

So needless to say, I haven't had much time to sit down and blog. I will try to do much better from now on. 


I have been very good with my exercise routine though. Next week, my group run is 4 miles. Hope I can make it! Some days 3 miles is no big deal, but other days I want to stop after just 4 minutes. Running is totally different every day. I just have to keep on going! If anyone wants a running buddy at Memorial Park, let me know! 

Sad

I promise I will be back to blogging soon! My modem at my house is fried and Comcast is finally getting around to fixing it this weekend! 


I can't wait to meet up with the Htown bloggers on Sunday though!!

Dallas was a blast and I can't wait for next Saturday! I never thought I would be a girl that loved football, but I can't get enough of it! The feeling of being in a stadium for an LSU game is awesome! I hope that I can make it to Baton Rouge this year to tailgate for at least one game. I guess I better start looking for tickets! 

I had a great birthday and I want to thank all of you for the birthday wishes! Thanks to the wonderful 8 ladies that came to happy hour for my birthday too! I had a great time hanging out with Breanne, Savanah, Kristen, Stephanie, and some IRL friends! Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures due to the 6 drinks I had, but we did have a good time. Hopefully they don't hold anything I said against me. Apparently when the alcohol starts flowing, my mouth does too!

Random Thoughts

So the past few weeks have been SUPER busy since school started. I feel like this is the first time I have actually had time to sit down! So here I am blogging....with a glass of wine right next to me! 

I had lots of fun at the Htown bloggers meet up this month. We had about 18 or so girls there. It was the perfect place to visit and the food was great.

In other news, I am starting a running group tomorrow at Memorial Park. It is a group for people of all different levels- never running to running marathons. It's pretty cheap if anyone wants to join me! I just hope that I do not die in this heat! Seriously when is it going to cool down???

I am also very excited about happy hour this week with some friends and some Htown bloggers! If anyone else wants in, just let me know! It will be a great way to celebrate my birthday! Apparently one of my students thinks that my birthday will not be complete without having a lunch date with him. So I guess my birthday will be celebrated with a 10 year old too!
